Musk Now Back to the Top Richest

Tesla CEO Elon Musk now back into the top most spot as richest man in the world. In an Agence France-Presse report, around 1730 GMT Musk was back on top at $184.9 billion, followed by Bernard Arnault and his family at $184.7 billion.

With US tech stocks sliding as interest rates and recession fears rise, earlier this week Musk’s fortune briefly fell below that of the Arnault family .

Despite the most recent global economic headwinds, Arnault’s LVMH group, which consists of numerous brands like Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, and Kenzo, has continued to post strong revenue figures and profit growth.  It can be recalled that in 2021, Arnault have also gain the topmost richest person for several hours.

Musk, whose fortune depend largely on Tesla’s stock price, has been in the spotlight since he took control of Twitter in late October this year.

Indian businessman Gautam Adani was in the third place at $134.8 billion, followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos as fourth at $111.3 billion.
